New launches along with offers- to entice customers

We  know that visibility in the market is one of the important part to go forward in the competition. This  helps dealers to compete among the competitors. In the present context, competition is going on and on so that dealers have been launching new technologies with the enticing schemes.

"FREE HIT" (Samsung's new launched scheme):

Nepal's participation in the twenty20 world up, Samsung's authorized distributor in Nepal, has newly launched a scheme called for its customers. "Free Hit" according to the sayings of Surendra Pokharel, the retail sales head of the company  along with every purchase of Samsung's smart TV series, joy series. UHD TV series, the customers will be handed a scratch coupen which contains run according to which the customers will recieve  the allocated prizes. like: the six runs of the customer will recieve a Samsung DVD. Similarly, with the three, two and one runs the customers will get pendrives of 16GB, 8GB and 4GB repectively. Number one company among the world i.e Samsung has launched its new scheme like that Nepal is about to appear in its first  twenty20 World Cup match. Now, the customers will know the history which is being made in the brand new television.

Basic architecture of computer

Basic architecture of computer:
Computer systems are made up of set of functional devices that are connected to each other systematically. the system's architecture are data and instructions which stored in the same memory  and a single processor is used. Thus, the data/intructions are processed one-by-one.
The basic architecture of computer can easily be described by a logical figure that was developed by Von Neumann and the figure can also be called as 'Von Neumann's architecture.

Description of CPU with its parts:
CPU stands for Central Processing Unit and can also be known as microprocessor. It is the heart of computer system. CPU is the core of computer system that controls rest of the computer sytstems, including input and output devices, secondary or backing storage and main memory called RAM.
the two parts of CPU is ALU i.e. Arithematic and Logical Unit and CU i.e. Control Unit.
ALU- it carries out the arithematical and logical operations like- multiplication, addition and negation of integers.
CU- it controls the flow of data and/or instructions from the input device. It also converts the recieved instructions (that are in the form of program) to control signals. it manages the data/instructions that are contained in the program.

From the above figure (i.e.fig.1) we can know how the CPU works.
The brief description of the above diagram showing the work of CPU is mentioned below:
- First of all, the CU (Control Unit) receives input (i.e. data / instructions) from the input devices then, stores them into the RAM.
-The CU controls/manages the flow of data and/or instructions inside the computer system.
- After that, the CU checks the input that has been stored in the Ram to see whetherany comparison or calculations are needed or not for processing the data.
- If any calculations or comparisons are needed then, the CU sends those data to the ALU (Arithematic Logic Unit).
- After the operation is done in the ALU, the CU retrieve the results from it and then stores them into the main memory i.e.RAM.
- The RAM stores the data and information temporarily during the processing is being carried out by CPU.
- When the processing is finished , the CU retrieves the required result from RAM and send to an output device so that we can see them.
- ON an output device, the user can see the output temporarily while it is being stored in the RAM.
- If users needed to store it permanently for the future references then, they give instructions to store the output to an external storage device permanently.

History of computer

History of computer : 'past to present'

According to the present context, computers have become a very essential too so, without computers it is quite difficult to perform any tasks easily and also effectively.computers uses only binary code i.e. 0 and 1 for processing information. this 0 and 1 can be said as on and off respectively. This is only the language understood by complete to complete an instruction.
In 1936 in Berlin, Germany it was believed that the first computer was developed.
In 1936, the Z1 was invented by Konrad Zuse in Germany. Z1 is a programmable device that has the capacity of remembering numbers. Now this process is called as memory.
In 1944 IBM introduced the Harvard Mark 1 that was finished at Harvard University. Harvard Mark 1 is a computer that has the capacity of calculating different types of numbers. Hence, it was very large calculator. along with the advancement and high research of the technology many companies such as: IBM, Apple as well as Intel developed PC (Personal Computers) as we are familier with it.
The Apple 1 was invented in 1976 whose price was allocated to be $700. Its memory with
4kb expandable to 8kb and contains CPU of 1mhz.

Similary, the Apple 2 was released in 1977 whose price was allocated as $1298. It contains CPU of 1mhz and memory is 4kb which is expandable to 48kb.

The Macintosh was released in 1984 whose price was $2000. it contains CPU of 25mhz and has memory 64kb expandable to 256kb.
Moreover, the first mouse was developed in 1964
First IBM 51000 Portable Computer was released in 1975 whose price ranged from $8,975 to $19,975. Its weight is 55lb , contains Cpu of 1mhz and has 16kb memory power.

Likewise, The IBM PC 5150 was released in 1984 whose price was alloted as $1900. It contains CPU of 55mhz and has memory 64kb expandable to 256kb.

Talking to forward, computers initiated with the memory and storage capacity in kilobytes then megabytes and then, gigabytes. The processor's speed started out from megabytes to gigabytes.

Computer system

Computer system is an electronic machine (including combination of all functional components of a computer) that processes data and gives processed output as information to the user. hence, it performs some functions that are: input, processing, storage, output and controlling.
the functional components of a computer system are listed below:
# hardware
# software
# human ware
# firmware
There is certain difference between data and information that are:
Data refers to raw facts (i.e. collection of numbers, images or characters) that are unprocessed whereas information is the meaningful output which are obtained by processing the unprocessed data. Thus, data are inputted by users for computer and information is the meaningful data that are provided y computer for us.
Let us have a brief description about the types of computer system.....
There are many different types of computer system and the classifications are not definitive which means there is considerable overlap between the types and there are computer systems which cannot be fitted into any type. There four types of computer system. they are:
  1. Supercomputer- It is the largest type of computer that leads edge in terms of processing power and speed. this computer is mainly used for weather forecasting, quantum physics, physical simulations and so on. Examples: the Columbia supercomputer, the Tiahne-2, cray's titan, IBM sequoia bluegene/Q supercomputer , etc.
  2. Mainframe computer- It is the second largest computer which features security, extensive input-output facilities, and so on.This computer is mainly use in census processing, large corporate data processing , etc  Examples: IBM System 360, IBM System z10, etc.
  3. Microcomputer - It is the small scale computer which can also be called as PC (Personal Computer). This computer is used for the personal use. here, no any large tasks can be performed like of super and mainframe computers. Examples: Laptop, tablet-pc, netbook, IBM-PC,etc.

  4. Minicomputer- It is the smallest computer which possesses most of the features of  large computers but it is relatively small in size. It is also called mid-range computer. Examples: DEC PDP-8, DEC PDP-11,etc.

Brief definition of IT

IT stands for Information Technology. It's simply a term that relates to computer technology including software, hardware, internet, network and so on. IT are used for creating, storing as well as sharing information in its various forms such as: voice conversation, images, multimedia presentation and so on. in other words, IT can be defined as the technology which uses computers as well as softwares for the management of information. It is also called as Information Management Services (IMS). In the present world, IT is playing a vital role for people for the purpose of accomplishing official tasks, entertainment, exchanging ideas ,etc in a convenient way.
